Banská Bystrica is a charming city with a lot to offer visitors. The Old Town is home to many well-preserved medieval buildings, including SNP Square, a large square that is often used for concerts and other events. Visitors can also visit the Matej Bel University, one of the oldest universities in Slovakia. Banská Bystrica is also a great place to enjoy Slovak cuisine and culture.
