A historical town in Central Bohemia, Kutna Hora was once a prosperous silver mining center and a rival of Prague. Today, it is a popular tourist destination, with several impressive monuments, such as the Gothic cathedral of St. Barbara, the Italian court, and the ossuary of Sedlec. You can take a direct train from Prague to Kutna Hora in about an hour.
