How to get to Czechia flight-free

How to get from London to Prague by rail

There are many fun ways to get to Prague from London but here are the most direct.

London to Prague

Here are some popular train routes to Czechia

How to get from London to Prague by coach

Prague is an endurance-testing 14:50 hrs from Brussels by Flixbus, so why not break up your journey by stopping at some fab places en-route like Dresden which is only 1 hour 49 mins from Prague by coach and before that, Leipzig, and Kassel?

It’s also worth remembering that while coaches may (usually) be slower than trains but they have some advantages…

  1. they are (usually) cheaper
  2. they go over hills, sometimes taking you through beautiful scenery (my favourite route in to Spain is by coach)
  3. there are more roads than rails so you can reach the parts that trains can’t reach
  4. they can be incredibly flexible - railway infrastructure is complex…
