Hirtshals is a town and seaport on the coast of Skagerrak on the island of Vendsyssel-Thy at the top of the Jutland peninsula. With its rugged coastline and sandy beaches Hirtshals is good for outdoor activities such as surfing, hiking and birdwatching.
