The city of Nuremberg is famous for its medieval old town, it's Christmas market and its role in the Nazi era. You can walk along the ancient city walls, visit the imposing Nuremberg Castle, learn about the history of the Nazi Party Rally Grounds and the Nuremberg Trials, and sample some of the local specialties such as Nuremberg sausages and gingerbread.
