Rastatt is a town with a Baroque core in Baden-Württemberg. It was an important place of the War of the Spanish Succession (Treaty of Rastatt) and the Revolutions of 1848 in the German states. The Schloss is rococo palace built in the 18th century as a summer residence for the Margraves of Baden and is now a museum, open to the public.
