Unlike other parts of Switzerland, Lugano enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, with warm summers and cool winters. This makes it a great destination to visit year-round. Lugano is home to a number of impressive architectural landmarks, including the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Palazzo Civico (Town Hall), and the Santa Maria degli Angioli church.
