Turin is known for its refined architecture, museums, and cuisine. The city has a rich history, dating back to Roman times. It was an important center of the Savoy dynasty for centuries, and played a significant role in the unification of Italy. Turin is also home to a number of important cultural institutions, including the Egyptian Museum, one of the most important collections of Egyptian artifacts outside of Egypt, and the Mole Antonelliana, a landmark building that now houses the National Cinema Museum.
