Riva Trigoso is a small town and frazione (hamlet) on the Italian Riviera. It's known for its beaches, its harbor, and its shipbuilding industry. Riva Trigoso has several beaches, including the Spiaggia Arena Bianca, the Spiaggia della Foce, and the Spiaggia di Riva Trigoso. These beaches are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and people-watching. The shipyard has public tours where you can learn about its history and what's going on there now. The medieval castle of Castello di San Nicolò is worth the hike for the views from the top.
