Quimper is a city in Brittany, northwest France. Near the old town, and it's half-timbered houses, the Gothic-style Quimper Cathedral features soaring twin spires. The Breton County Museum has archaeological finds and traditional Breton costumes. The Fine Arts Museum holds European paintings, with a focus on regional art. Southwest of the center, the Faience Museum displays the city’s distinctive faience pottery.
